What's a Pearl Jubilee? It was a party for our 30th anniversary. Looking online, this may be the only one ever!
Did you ever read about balls in stories or classic novels, and think about what a beautiful ball might be like? We created our own on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Monroe Hall, Santa Rosa.
It was all live music with The Old World Carolers and special guest Tim Rued, fiddle and nyckelharpa.
2015 was also the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. We celebrated with decor, potluck (zero waste) hors d'oeuvre, and flights of fantasy reflecting The Walrus and the Carpenter (and their oysters), caterpillars, playing cards, or other favorite scenes. Special guest: the REAL Father William and his amazing eel!
We included some special songs from the Alice books (rare versions, of course!).
This was a zero waste event. Here is a link to Zero Waste Sonoma County's Facebook page.

This was also a CD release party for our CD celebrating 25 years—see "Listen" below! Perfect holiday gift idea.
